Personally, I've always been more of a silver/white gold kinda gal when it comes to my accessories. I just think it looks better with my skin tone and plus...nothing showcases a beautiful diamond better than a white gold (or even better platinum) setting...and boy oh boy do I love diamonds.
But, I do have to admit, now that summer is officially here, I am starting to have a growing affection for gold accessories for several reasons...
1. It's classic and chic with your LBD

Plus, unless you're going to a funeral, then black, black, and more black is just so boooooring. Gold is a great alternative it goes with practically everything
and makes a very classy statement.

We especially love the mixed medium bangles (gold and resin) and a wedge sandal. You can never go wrong with a wedge (makes walking across a back yard for a bbq SOOO much easier!!)
3. Metals are now mixable
Monica and I will agree to disagree on this one. While I totally accept that the days of not mixing silver and gold are long gone, I'm a traditionalist. Much like wearing white before Memorial Day, I just can't do it. But that's just me liking symmetry. You should totally give mixing and matching a try!

Coach Parker Metallic Tote, 14K Gold Hoop Earrings - 2 1/8" diameter (2mm thickness), Lolly's Candy and Cupcake Layered Necklace- Pink: Jewelry, Kirra Jewelry & Hair - Womens - Bangles With Turquoise Bracelet,
Layered necklaces. We like them best with a long pressed gold circle link necklace with a shorter gold charm necklace, but I couldn't pass up the cupcake/candy themed charms!
Bangles...again. What can I say....we love them this season! Mix gold bangles with solid resin bangles for a fun look. We especially love the gold/turquoise look.
A great metallic bag will carry you through the seasons as long as you don't pick a season specific fabric like straw.
Gold hoop earrings are a must have staple in ever girls accessory wardrobe. They literally go with everything. When wearing a bold necklace or patterned dress stick to a simple gold earring to complete the look but not overwhelm it. My advice invest in a 14K pair you will use them forever. Much more bang for your buck than having to replace them every few months because you bought the cheapies and the tarnished. Also stick to a medium sized thin gold hoop for your basic go to pair.
Happy, Trendy Tuesday Everyone!!

I think gold bangles will be on my birthday wish list this year. Now I just need to drop some solid hints to the husband. Wish me luck!Sarah H.
